Sliding into the home stretch of 2019, a year of so much growth in many ways.Exciting challenges, devastating lows… I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m extremely grateful for the support of my friends, family, fellow coaches, especially my coach @gavinheward who has patiently helped me peel back layers of complexity to gain greater self awareness, strength, knowledge and resilience. Can’t wait to get stuck into a whole new set of challenges next year on my quest to constantly build a better me, with his support, wisdom, strategy and lack of judgement… because that’s what a good provides. This empowers me to be a better coach for my clients. So what are your plans? Are you ready to grow and change, or are you just content to kick along? Do you want more out of life? Do you want to look and feel amazing come December 2019?Nothing will change… until you decide to.Let’s make next year your year to achieve something to be proud of. If you think you’re up to the challenge, reach out, I’d love to help you to thrive in 2019.
Making Change
Be brave.Heading back into the gym this week may seem a little daunting. You may not look the same physically as you used to.You may not feel the same mentally as you used to.You may not move as well as you used to.Be humble. You may not be able to lift as much as you used to.Or push as hard. Be better. It’s better to start now while the safety measures are strict and the gyms are capped so they’re quiet. The sooner you start, the sooner you’ll reap the benefits.Have patience, leave your expectations at the door and enjoy training again in the open space with equipment you may not have used in months.Work on establishing those healthy routines and habits once more. Consistency is the key to making long term change. Above all be proud of yourself, it’s been a tough year and you are doing this for you. Don’t forget that and let your fears and anxieties stop you from working on the new improved you!#bebrave #behumble #bebetter #workout #gym #fitness #health #selfimprovement #strong #justlift #train #work #strength #selfcare #selfesteem #mentalhealth #prestonpt #southmelbournept #melbournept #wereback #strongerthanyouthink
