Increase your strength, increase your capabilities. After spending my nieces 10th bday weekend swimming, climbing into water slides, playing twister, dancing to fortnite dances and finding all the best hide and seek hiding spots with the kids, I can’t help but be proud of how far I have come. All the grunt work put into getting strong has enabled me to do pretty much anything I please! That’s true freedom. I’m not held captive by my own physical limitations. It’s what drives me when I see it echoed in feedback from clients who have managed to get back to playing sports they love, having experiences they never thought possible or be more involved as parents and grandparents rather than live life at the sidelines. If you’re feeling frustrated, like you’re letting yourself or your loved ones down because of your physical limitations, know that it doesn’t have to be that way. Finding your strength will enrich your life, and allow you to do the things you want to do, to be the person you want to be. As a bonus it will do more for your appearance, physical/mental health and longevity than any quick fix or store bought purchase could ever hope to.Truth is time stops for no one, so take action, the sooner you get started, the sooner you’ll begin to reap the benefits. Want better for yourself and your loved ones? Let’s chat!
Making Change
Be brave.Heading back into the gym this week may seem a little daunting. You may not look the same physically as you used to.You may not feel the same mentally as you used to.You may not move as well as you used to.Be humble. You may not be able to lift as much as you used to.Or push as hard. Be better. It’s better to start now while the safety measures are strict and the gyms are capped so they’re quiet. The sooner you start, the sooner you’ll reap the benefits.Have patience, leave your expectations at the door and enjoy training again in the open space with equipment you may not have used in months.Work on establishing those healthy routines and habits once more. Consistency is the key to making long term change. Above all be proud of yourself, it’s been a tough year and you are doing this for you. Don’t forget that and let your fears and anxieties stop you from working on the new improved you!#bebrave #behumble #bebetter #workout #gym #fitness #health #selfimprovement #strong #justlift #train #work #strength #selfcare #selfesteem #mentalhealth #prestonpt #southmelbournept #melbournept #wereback #strongerthanyouthink
