Haven’t posted one of these in a long time as I haven’t been making smoothies, but had quite a response to my Instagram story!
So here’s the full recipe for my post-workout PB Pumpkin Smoothie below
1. Soak the following in the fridge for about an hour beforehand:- 200ml water- 1/2 cup rolled oats
2. Combine the above, with the below and blend with a handful of ice.
– 1 flat tbsp PB2 OR all natural peanut butter (depending on your dietary/calorie preferences)
– 1 cup roasted pumpkin
– 1/2 tsp cinnamon
– pinch of s&p
– 1 serve of vanilla/plain or PB protein powder (I use @proteinsuppliesaustralia‘s egg-white based vanilla paleopro)
*Option: stevia to taste
A great balance of protein, plant and deliciousness. Don’t skip the 1st step if you want a smooth, creamy texture!Enjoy
